2010 World Cup
2010 FIFA World Cup™ match schedule has been released. Cape Town’s new Green Point Stadium is scheduled to host eight games, including a semi-final. All but two of the Cape Town matches will take place at night (20:30 local time).2010 World Cup tickets went on sale in Feb 2009. Cheapest tickets cost R140.

CAPE TOWN INTERNATIONAL KITE FESTIVAL
‘Uplifting Mind and Body’ is the theme for 16th Cape Town International Kite Festival. Africa’s biggest kite festival attracts over 20,000 visitors, including biggest names in kiting in South Africa and the world who fly in to show off their magnificent kite creations. Kite-making, kite-flying, food stalls, kiddies’ rides, a full programme of entertainment, an eclectic craft market, this is family entertainment at its best. Open 10:00 to 18:00 each day. On lawns surrounding Zandvlei, Muizenberg. Entry R15 for adults and R5 for children.

South African Lipizzaners perform every Sunday morning at 10.30am in their majestic indoor hall in Kyalami.
The performance lasts about 60min without an interval. Refreshments and memorabilia are available before and after the performance. Tickets can be booked through Computicket or at the door. Cchildren under 3 free. |
