Zen and the art of minute South African trees.
This year's show will displaying well over 100 magnificent miniature trees of the highest standard with a strong focus on exciting indigenous trees.

Novices to bonsai will enjoy education table and demonstrations on how to design bonsai and how to maintain and care for them. Numerous trees, pots, tools, starter kits and equipment will be available to purchase.

Open daily from 09:00 – 05:00. Although a small donation would be appreciated, there is no charge to see this magnificent show, other than the obligatory fee to enter Kirstenbosch Gardens.

“More market players visited the leading platform of the international travel industry than ever before. In times of rapid structural changes and highly competitive markets they focused on gaining a comprehensive market overview and on new business approaches. Thus, unlike many other industries, the travel sector is actively responding to the challenges. Trade visitor attendance remained high, proof of ITB Berlin’s resilience even in economically difficult times. Once again, ITB Berlin re-established itself as the world’s leading travel trade show“, said Dr. Christian Göke, COO Messe Berlin. Of the 110,857 trade visitors who attended (110,322), 42 per cent came from abroad, an increase of four per cent. Once again, record numbers took part in the convention, 12,000, compared with 11,000 in 2008.
